Leave Me Alone

I am what i am
Never gon Change
Stand as a Man
Shine through the Rain
Weather that storm for whatever it's worth
Flesh when I'm born but return to the Dirt
These are My Rights
These are My Wrong
These are My Heights
These are My Songs
These are My Highs
These are My Lows
Say what yol like But I'm keepin My Soul
Forever Alone
At Least in My Mind
Cause Everything only Exists for A Time
Nothing Gon Last
Everything Dies
The Past is The Past
The Future it lies in The Life of A Child
Who never even Saw his Own Life
And Everyone is Silent So Shit is Alright
From birth we been Blind so We never Lost Sight
We searching For Signs that We Know We Won't Like
It's Real
More than Just Words
Don't Want yol Schools
Don't Need yol Church
I Believe in God Because No One is Perfect
And Believe Me I'm just scratching The Surface

Leave Me Alone
I don't wanna pick up my phone
I don't wanna tell yol Nothing
This is My Zone
Understand My Head is My Home
I don't wanna tell yol Nothing
Leave Me Alone

Save Our Pitons

A lot of ppl may get this link on msn and probably completely overlook it. However, this is pretty F****N Important!
Basically the Government has been royally screwing us over for quite a while now. For the sake of being politically correct i'm not going to elaborate.

The following is a link to an online petition to save our Pitons, which is one of St. Lucia's most cherished historic landmarks. The Pitons of St Lucia was nominated by UNESCO World Heritage Site in June 2004. Since then, they are in danger and not protected against constructions and "developments".

Please take the time out to sign it and help save a piece of nature that means so much to us as a people. Whether you're St Lucian or not, help us preserve history!

Thank You

Front Page n Ting!

There really no words to describe how I feel about this. A 'Good Look' is an under statement. I wont lie it was kinda weird walkin round campus seein my face everywhere lol. It is what it is i suppose. These successes, as minute or major as some may see it, always touch me in such a special way. it makes the hard work, the sacrifices, everything all worth it.
Shouts to the Journal and my boy Alex Clarke. (Happy Bday Bro!)

Forever - Stacey Iman

I can safely say that i'm in love with this one. Stacey is an awesome vocalist from St. lucia that i've had the pleasure of working with in the past. The song was composed By my boy Jason Lovence (Endless Summer Composer) and produced by the genius producer Leebo (who also produced Endless Summer, One Kiss & a number of other hits for me). The lyrics behind the track are by Christopher Hunte who I have also had the pleasure of working with. He also wrote Trish's lyrics to 'Let it Rain' and had a huge part to play in the production of the Endless Summer Video.

This honestly warms my heart listening to this. Makes me miss home a little too lol.

What More Can i Say

Thu, 10 Sep 2009 04:20:00 +0000

Can I Live
On this day, my 21st birthday, I find myself asking so many questions. In the midst of so many accomplishments, i find myself wondering if these have been outweighed by my mistakes and regrets.
In the blink of an eye, in the process of 'living' you may end up killing yourself without even realizing it.
In the process of 'living', everything you've worked for, everything that has brought you joy, satisfaction or even sanity could be lost.
Everything means nothing....
Now when this happens, when this is your life, are you really living?
Are you really still alive?
Is it worth life?
It may be or it may not be. One thing still remains though...Life Goes On...
Whether you like it or not, it goes on.
You must continue to exist.
The hardest part of it all is maintaining the facade of life while feeling dead inside. Smiling while moments away from tears.
Is this really life?
Should you continue to exist?
Are you really living when already dead inside?
On this day, My 21st birthday, These are the questions i am faced with. In the midst of all my accomplishments, The mixtape, the video, the single, the Ra position, the fame, the women, my family, my friends, my fans, the 'happiness', the life....i find myself asking...
is This Life?

...Can I Live...

Breaking The Silence
I tend to leave you guys hangin way too long and I need to work on that..I know.
The good news is that i havn't just been sittin here doing nothing. We been working real hard!
So far it;s been a very eventful summer, from Toronto to london to St. Lucia then back to Hali. The Video to Endless Summer is of course done and ready to be released.
You guys must have already seen the behind the scene vids of it but in the event that some of you havn't, here you go!

The single is still due to release at the end of this summer.
The mixtape is more less done. Just putting the final touches on it right now. I might just post the Track List real soon. I don't want to blow my own horn but I'm really impressed with this project. I wanted to treat it like an album and I believe we accomplished that.

Look out for exclusive early releases from the mixtape too!

We got a lot of beautiful things coming so just stay tuned to the movement and you wont be disappointed.

Best I Ever Had Video

Drake "Best I Ever Had" from kwest on Vimeo.

Aside from the fact that I'm in love with every single girl on Drake's team in the vid, I think Kanye did a pretty good job directing the video. The concept is out of the box and the camera angles are insame. I enjoyed the vid. Take a look for yourself

I GOT A BIG EGO
Right now I'm 20 years old
And I've been doing music since I was 14
I seen these new dudes all come and then go
So should I give up or live up to me dreams?!
Cuz truth be told, I'm nothing more than a little black boy from a third world country that don't even like rap
Like I'm trap in a war confined to four walls, no windows, no doors, and it's all just black
It's all just Rap...

The Album Frootloops, is a collaboration of myself (Ritchcraft), Qwest, and Jansport J. I met them over Twitter and saw we all made remixes so I had to mesh our remixes into an album. The album is a mix of new and old remixes we've created over the past couple years. The name "Frootloops" was chosen because we all produce our music on the program Fruityloops (FL Studio) therefore the my bro came up with the cereal Frootloops as the title for the album. The intro, and two skits of actual frootloops commercials are incorporated to mesh all the songs together and also allows the title to make sense. I would say my favorite track on the album is Qwest's remix of "Once Again".....Qwest is a sick producer who brings that oldschool sound to 2009, and I wish some of his remixes were mine lol. Jansport is much more established than myself or Qwest so I appreciate him for giving me a couple remixes to add to the project, and the Rhymefest "Dynamite Transformers" remix he made is pretty damn amazing. I can't speak for Jansport or Qwest but, my influences expand from real gritty hip hop to disco, I try to expand what I listen to, so what I produce can be innovative and limitless. I'm not entirely sure what Jansport is up to, but, I plan to continue to produce for some of the artists i've been working with, (Bruthaz n Armz, Coolera, Kayo) I know Qwest is down to start another project, whether its a remix album who knows, only time can tell!... One thing can be for certain though, there will be more projects, and i have a habit of scrapping anything that isn't dope, so you can be sure it'll be good music you can bump in your car, on your mp3 or ipod, or however you jam to music.
